Opal is one of the gym leaders in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. She was a decent gym leader.
Her gym challenge is actually kind of strange.
She makes you battle her trainers, while asking you trivia questions.
Her Pokemon are all fairy type, and I didn’t have much trouble with that.
Even her last Pokemon didn’t prove much of a challenge.
After you defeat her, she plans to retire.
And she chooses the disgraced Bede as her successor to lead the gym.
