Ayla was a decently cool character from Chrono Trigger.
She was a cave woman who lived way in the past. I think her era was among the last during time travel.
I remember she was really powerful in battle.
She returns to her own time after the final battle is won. She engages herself to some guy, and hypothetically she is probably the ancestor to all the human characters.
