By far the greatest battle in the game, it starts out just like the battle in the original Metroid.
You should know that Mother Brain can’t be defeated so easily.
Her second form is much more terrifying. You definitely have to be at your A game to last long here.
Despite how well you do, the game will force a moment where Mother Brain defeats Samus with a large laser blast.
And then the Baby Metroid that thinks Samus is its mother attacks Mother Brain and takes her energy and gives it back to her adoptive mother.
But unfortunately, Mother Brain gets the upper hand and kills Baby Metroid. Rather sad really.
I really enjoyed avenging “my child.”
After Mother Brain dies, the planet explodes and you fly away safely in your spaceship.
