WandaVision was one of the shows announced for Disney+ before the streaming service ever came out. Everything in the MCU have pretty much been all movies and none of them have been TV shows. With the death of Vision in Infinity War, I was very curious to see how he would be in the plot of this new series.

The show starts with no explanation of how things got started after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Wanda and Vision appear to be a married couple in a very similar setting to a 1950s American sitcom.

And the episode starts out and plays much like a sitcom from the 1950s. It seems that Wanda and Vision have no real control of the world around them but try to keep their powers secret to normal people.

But after not too long, the episodes become in full color and parody other sitcoms from American TV history. It becomes quite apparent after a few episodes there is way more going on than the show has allowed us to believe so far. But how does this nonsense fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

It is very hard to write about WandaVision without spoiling everything. My original guess of how Wanda was living this life was mostly incorrect, but I will say that it makes sense once you know the full details about how it fits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I also figured that it would only be one season about halfway through the series. With the final episode being titled Series Finale, my suspicions were correct. It is definitely a very strange show, but I’ve been binging it quite a bit so I was a fan.
