Gourmet was one villain that definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
He was one of the Sensui Seven, he had the power to devour psychics/demons and steal their powers.
Besides swallowing Elder Toguro and Shigeru Murota, we don’t know of anyone else that he devoured but it’s obvious that he had ate one or two before that. Kuwabara was his next victim, but they wanted to make sure he was able to summon his new dimensional sword.
He was quickly killed by Kurama, who did not fall for his mind reading technique.
Unfortunately, the battle was not over as Elder Toguro was really pulling the strings the whole time. But I would assume Gourmet as a person died when his skull was pretty much gone.
