Things I Like: Dimitri (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

While he was against my side at the end, I did like Dimitri. He starts out as the Crown Prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.

And he is one of the house leaders at the academy, being equal to Edelgard and Claude.

While I sided with the Black Eagles, he was more of a challenge during the mock battles than Claude.

But you could cut the tension between Edelgard and Dimitri with a knife.

Sure enough, when Edelgard makes her true motives known, he vows to stop her. He makes an obvious ally with Rhea and the Church of Seiros.

He is the next to last big foe to take down on my route with Crimson Flower.

Ironically he isn’t the biggest foe during that battle.

Cause he’s rather easy to knock down. His monsters are what gave me the biggest headache of all.

And canonically (during that route) it is Edelgard that sends him to the afterlife. I felt a little sad but I’m not shocked that the game didn’t ask me if I wanted him to be spared or not.
