While far from my favorite character in the series, I liked ol’ Archie Hopper in Once Upon a Time.
We learn his past early on, his parents were some real bad people. They were responsible for the death of Geppetto’s parents. Which makes him one of the oldest characters in the series.
He redeems himself and the Blue Fairy turns him into a magical grasshopper, the form he takes in the magic realm.
In the cursed town of Storybrooke, he becomes a human again and he thinks he’s a psychiatrist. One of his patients is Henry Mills, in which Archie thinks it’s a good thing for Henry to have hope in the “fairytale” idea.
But he talks more reasonable sense with Emma Swan.
And is bossed around by Regina Mills.
After the curse is broken, his importance dwindles as more of a cameo character for most of the series. I wished he had more courage, he was a bit too much of a coward.
I loved that show. He was a good character.
