Galaga (Carolina Arcade Museum)

Galaga arcade machine Midway Namco

This was another classic I wasn’t surprised to see at the Carolina Arcade Museum. Unlike many games from 1981, it’s not rare to see a Galaga machine (usually in combo unit with Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man) at a bowling alley or pizza parlor today.

Though I’ve played Galaga more times than I could care to count. I was never the biggest fan of the game. While it was pretty good for its time, it’s not my cup of tea.
