Fun facts about poinsettia flowers

The Christmas flower poinsettia gets its name from Joel Roberts Poinsett. He was the first U.S. Ambassador to Mexico (though in his day he was officially a Minister instead of Ambassador), and introduced the flower to the United States in 1825.
