The Panasonic Q was a custom built Gamecube that could play DVDs in addition to GC games.
The system later sold for around $500 and because of this very few people bought it. Panasonic later shut down production of the system due to low sales. Because if you can get a Gamecube and a DVD player for cheaper than the combo system, then what’s the point.
I still want one because of the glowing controller ports. Too bad it was released only in Japan.
