Fun facts about the Andromeda Galaxy

Since the speed of light can only travel at 671 million miles per hour means that the lights in the universe we see are not recent at all. The nearest spiral galaxy Andromeda is about 2.5 million light years from Earth. Which means that the Andromeda we see is not the Andromeda of today, but rather the way it was 2.5 million years ago.
