Lady Chatterley’s Lover was a book by D. H. Lawrence privately published in 1928 and official published in the United Kingdom during 1960. The story was about an affair between two married individuals and used very explicit language. It was put on trial in England and a not guilty verdict was given. It was a huge milestone for freedom of speech in the Western world.
