Since dancers can burn through thousands of shoes in a year, the New York City Ballet spends a little under 800 thousand dollars on shoes a year.

    That’s cray cray but also can see why! Ballet is so hard on the feet and hence shoes!!!

    That is an insane budget! I probably spend $80 a year on shoes LOL
