After we were done with Chimney Rock State Park, we drove back down to the village. The village is kind of like a little mini Gatlinburg, Tennessee, as there are plenty of shops and restaurants to see. We took my stepdaughter Princess L to the Country Fair on the far side of the town. It’s basically a little tiny amusement park with kiddie rides. They also charge $5 for parking, which kind of sucks.

Princess L did love it, but to be fair, all these rides were built a long time ago. Some of these rides are older than my father. These rides could have entertained my parents as children. Which is pretty crazy.

She definitely enjoyed the airplane ride.

The train ride was also pretty cool.

She was actually pretty brave on the ferris wheel too. She’s in the orange seat.

And she was a big fan of the helicopters.

And she was tickled pink she was able to get to be the “captain” of the boat.
Looks like a lot of fun! My daughter would love that 😀

The rides may be old, but they are classics and kids have loved them for a long time. What fun for Princess L!
