My father-in-law has a beach house on James Island in Charleston, South Carolina. Folly Beach (which is Charleston’s main beach) is only a short drive from the house. I used to go here when my brother lived in Charleston but this is the first trip as our little family.

My stepdaughter Princess L came along with us of course. She kept running out towards the water and for some reason I missed a picture of her at the beach. But my gorgeous wife and my son are in the photo above.

He wasn’t super interested in the beach itself. He was a little curious of the people and animals.

He actually cried right before I put his feet in the water. But he cheered up as soon as I did.

While it was definitely challenging trying to tend to a baby on the beach, I think this cool little dude had a pretty good time.
