The first night we spent in Charleston, her dad made reservations at Water’s Edge, a seafood restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Which is basically Charleston, just on the opposite side of the Cooper River Bridge. We were flabbergasted to see that parking was $25, but the good news was that they validated the parking for free, as long as you paid for your meal.

Its main draw is that you can eat with quite a view. Apparently, dolphins frequent the waters, but there were too many boats scaring them away when we ate.

Since it’s a seafood restaurant and I don’t eat any kind of meat from an animal, it definitely wasn’t my cup of tea. Everybody seem to be kind of disappointed in their meals, for what her dad paid. The service was also pretty slow that Saturday night, we spent about an hour waiting for our meal to be cooked. I definitely don’t see us coming back in the future. It’s not horrible but for the drive and money, it doesn’t seem to be worth it.
That’s too bad it wasn’t a great experience for you guys.

That’s too bad about the service and meal. At least you spent some time together.
