The best part of Big Bang Theory was definitely Jim Parsons as the infamous Sheldon Cooper. I would go far enough to say without Sheldon Cooper, the show would have lasted no more than maybe two seasons.
Sheldon’s a stereotypical super genius/nerd. He’s also a pretty annoying friend. We all know that one guy that won’t let anybody sit in his special spot and Sheldon’s definitely that guy.
He has a lot of moments where he’s absolutely and eccentrically weird.
And I did enjoy the moments of the show where he literally lost his mind for a little while.
For the majority of the series, Sheldon Cooper seems to be asexual. Which is hilarious when women find him attractive. Why? I have no idea why any woman would find him attractive.
About halfway through the series, Sheldon seems to meet his match with Amy Farrah Fowler. Who at first seems to be the female (and asexual) version of himself.
They eventually get married but it’s actually the attempt for consummation of their relationship that becomes the running gag for a long time. I don’t think I’ve cheered for any female character to get laid in a television series as much as I did for Amy Farrah Fowler.
Honestly one of my favorite things about Sheldon is his relationship with Penny instead of Amy. She’s like a second mother to him despite him being the older one. It’s very sweet in many ways.

And now I love seeing Amy as a Jeopardy host. 🙂
I like Sheldon too. I watch the series “Young Sheldon” as well. Also a winner!
