Since we see more Chozo in Metroid Dread than probably any other Metroid game ever, one of the good members of the race eventually shows up.

I still remember this moment when I was shocked when the EMMI robot stopped working.

He apparently had control to turn them all off, which he does for Samus Aran. But shortly after they meet, he’s killed by a Robot Chozo Soldier.

He’s revived with the X parasite but the first thing he does after becoming a zombie, is turning the EMMI robots back on.

But apparently the good inside of him gets control at the end of the game. He apparently cures Samus of turning into a Metroid herself.
