Leslie Winkle was a decent minor character on Big Bang Theory. Big Bang Theory was often a Roseanne reunion at times. Sara Gilbert’s character on Roseanne dated Johnny Galecki’s.

And not surprisingly, their characters have a romance, but a minor one at that.

But I don’t think any of the writers intended for her to be his main love interest. Just the tool to keep the romantic tension between him and Penny going. I don’t think they were even boyfriend and girlfriend, just some weird friends with benefits.

The other notable thing was her having a feud with Sheldon. I don’t exactly remember what for, but they definitely were enemies in a hilarious fashion.

But eventually she becomes friends with Sheldon, but you can barely tell it. She was kind of notable at the start of the series but she shows up randomly later on. She could have been much more of a presence.
