Raven Beak is the final boss of the game and obviously the main antagonist. While the Chozo race has been quite beneficial for most of the Metroid series, this being is definitely not a nice alien bird guy.

We actually meet him very early on in the game, as he whoops your butt and takes your abilities from you.

Turns out he could have easily killed Samus Aran during the original encounter. We find out he donated some of his DNA to Samus Aran when she was a little girl. Which makes him consider her as his “daughter.” But he was interested in her for her Metroid DNA.

My main problem with Raven Beak was the entire boss fight. It was very difficult and lasted too long.

So much so, that I didn’t even come close to beating him. I really should have set the game to easy when I started.

For those lucky enough to beat him, he somehow turns into some big alien monster but Samus Aran has a newly mutated super suit and Hyper Beam to finish him off.
