Sophia Petrillo is my favorite Golden Girl by far, and I definitely never suspected it judging by how little I had known of the show before watching it.

She was the mother of Dorothy Zbornak and ironically her actress Estelle Getty was slightly younger than her on-screen daughter Bea Arthur. They always had a pretty fun and feisty mother-daughter relationship

She also was just the funniest old lady. With such savage comments and comebacks.

And honestly living with a woman like Rose, it was all just too easy for her, LOL.
