My stepdaughter Princess L and my son Alexander are only two weeks away when it comes to birthdays. Since she was turning seven and he was turning one this year, we had a party at the water park for both of them at the same time. We got to rent out a tent/gazebo with provided pizza and we bought two cakes for the event.

We have been to the water park before and it’s pretty fun. My favorite is the slide above. Since the party was on a Saturday, it was as busy as can be.

Alexander turns one officially on the 15th, which is this Thursday. It was a little strange that none of his baby friends got to come but it didn’t make much sense to invite them. But he had a great time because all his favorite people were there and he got to eat one of his favorite foods, which is pizza. He actually gets offended if I eat pizza and I don’t give him any.

We ordered his cake from Publix and they gave him a free smash cake since it was his first birthday party.

He may have enjoyed cake a little too much…

He did absolutely love it. I’m actually very grateful we did this in a water park because a smash cake anywhere else would be very hard to clean up. I just took him to the shower and hosed him off.
