Epona is my favorite horse in the Zelda series especially the Ocarina of Time version.

You technically get her unofficially from Malon as a child.

But you get to technically own her in the future when you’re an adult as you have to challenge the new owner of Lon Lon Ranch to a horse race.

And after he imprisons you, you use your new horse to jump out which is pretty darn cool.

And a grown-up Malon is very happy of how things worked out. Epona is such a good way to move around Hyrule without taking forever.

And when you get to the Gerudo part of Hyrule, there’s this bridge and the jump is so much fun to me.
