Things I Like: Android 16 (Dragon Ball FighterZ)

I was a bit suprised to see him be so notable in the story mode. As he died in Dragon Ball Z and since he was purely robotics, there was nothing to wish back. But he’s a creation of Android 21, and infused with all the memories and powers of the old Android 16. TogetherContinue reading “Things I Like: Android 16 (Dragon Ball FighterZ)”

Things I Hate: Ryu (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)

While I always liked him in the Street Fighter games, I didn’t dig Capcom’s Ryu too much in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I liked him better in Smash 4 on WiiU. I will say, his moves are certainly truthful to the game he’s based on. You got his hadoken fireballs. And his spinning kicks. Things I Like: Mute City SNES (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)

Mute City SNES was a retro stage in the 3DS version of Smash 4 and it returns for Ultimate. It’s obviously based on F-Zero on the Super Nintendo. Though I’ll admit, it’s very imbalanced. You basically fight as the cars are moving. The biggest thing to avoid is landing on the road. It packs aContinue reading “Things I Like: Mute City SNES (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)”

Things I Like: Tortimer Island (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)

Since I only had the WiiU version of Smash 4, I missed out on this one. This one is based on an island in the Animal Crossing series away from your main town. It’s a pretty flat stage to fight on. You do have to be careful not to land in the ocean water. It’sContinue reading “Things I Like: Tortimer Island (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)”
