Near the front door of the Carolina Arcade Museum was Gaplus, which is also known as Galaga 3, despite there never being a Galaga 2. It’s not very good, more like Galaga 1.5 but with nothing to add.
One of the last games I played at the Carolina Arcade Museum in Forest City, NC. I was never too big into Tekken but I did play a little on PS1. I find it more fun than Virtual Fighter.
Namco offered Pole Position or Mappy to Bally Midway for publication in the United States. They chose Mappy instead and Atari got Pole Position. Atari got the far more successful game
Pole Position was the first game to include real advertisements for other products in the game itself.
With the Fuji Speedway, Pole Position was the first video game with a racing track based on reality.
