Stars are said to “twinkle” in the night’s sky but it’s more of an optical illusion. The light hits large areas of moving air in the Earth’s atmosphere which causes it to have the effect. If you were to see the stars from outer-space (or on a planet/moon without an atmosphere) they would not twinkle.
