Things I Like: Cinderella/Ashley Boyd (Once Upon a Time)

While kind of minor for the series, she did have a decent role in the first season. She’s your typical Cinderella. She was reduced to poverty and servitude to her wicked stepmother and step-sisters. Her fairy godmother is about to help her before the magical being is obliterated by Rumplestiltskin. So Rumpelstiltskin takes the roleContinue reading “Things I Like: Cinderella/Ashley Boyd (Once Upon a Time)”

Things I Like: Maleficent (Once Upon a Time)

While far from my favorite villain, I did like her incarnation mildly on the show. She makes a short appearance early on. As we learn she had the curse that Regina casted after Regina traded it for the sleeping curse which failed to work on Snow White. She manages to get it back by force.Continue reading “Things I Like: Maleficent (Once Upon a Time)”

Things I Hate: Cora (Once Upon a Time)

While I thought her story was good and complex, I just hated her without any real reason to like or pity her. She was mostly pure evil, or at least…selfish to the core. We learn she was born a mere daughter of a poor miller. After having Zelena in secret, she soon works her wayContinue reading “Things I Hate: Cora (Once Upon a Time)”

Outlander (TV Series) Season 2 Review

Outlander seems to be the Game of Thrones for Starz. It’s got a hefty budget, a story that grips you into binging, and almost nothing holding it back when it comes to censorship. I was very impressed by the first season, so the second was very easy to start. After leaving Scotland, Claire and JamieContinue reading “Outlander (TV Series) Season 2 Review”

Things I Hate: Sir Maurice/Moe French (Once Upon a Time)

Who knew the father of an angel like Belle would be so unlikable? He’s never really on the side of evil, but he just always irked me. In the old land he is Sir Maurice, some kind of noble who makes a deal with Rumplestiltskin to prevent the Ogres from destroying everything. He had toContinue reading “Things I Hate: Sir Maurice/Moe French (Once Upon a Time)”
