Fun Fact: Indianapolis Etymology
The capital of Indiana, Indianapolis gets its name from the Greek word “polis” which means city. Which literally makes Indianapolis translate as Indiana City.
Fun Fact: When Indiana Tried Legally Changing Pi
In 1897, a physician tried to convince the Indiana Legislature to change the value of Pi because he thought he discovered a way to “square a circle”. The House of Representatives passed the bill, but the Senate rejected it.

While Sikhism originated and is strongest in India, it currently is behind Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity by number of followers. However many Sikhs in India have become very successful such as Manmohan Singh who became the first (and currently only) Prime Minister of India to be of the Sikh faith.
Fun Fact: The Town of Santa Claus
In 1856 the town of Santa Fe, Indiana was denied a Post Office name matching their town. As there was already another Santa Fe in the state. So they changed their name to Santa Claus, Indiana.
