Metroids have made cameos in Kid Icarus from the original to Uprising. They are called Komyato in the games.
Kid Icarus was known as 光神話 パルテナの鏡 (Hikari Shinwa: Parutena no Kagami) in Japan. It means “Light Mythology: Palutena’s Mirror.”
I’ve never played the NES original, but I heard good things. I found this in a local pawn shop for 8 bucks. Honestly even though it was a “rare” find for such a time and place, I feel little jipped.
