Fun Fact: The Mayans Never Predicted a Doomsday

Despite popular opinion, the Mayans never predicted any doom to occur during 2012. December 21st of this year is merely the end to a 5,125 period in their long-count calendar. No legitimate scholar found any evidence to show that any Mayan group predicted a huge doomsday in 2012 or any point in the near-future.
