In 1974, the Supreme Court including justices that Richard Nixon appointed unanimously ordered him to deliver evidence to a federal court. After failing to hide behind “executive Privilege”, Richard Nixon resigned from the presidency not long afterward.
This was a traumatic time for our nation which I remember vividly. It seems like a cakewalk compared to now.
