Francium does occur naturally, however it decays quickly at about 22 minutes. If humans were able to produce it for a profit, it would easily take millions and millions of dollars to make.

  1. So cool. I googled it and read that it was the last element found in nature. Since only as much as 20–30 g (one ounce) exists at any given time throughout the Earth’s crust that’s wild!
