Though not the only version of Gwen Stacy ever, I liked Emma Stone’s version of Gwen Stacy overall.

She is smart and she quickly falls for Peter Parker.

Too bad her dad was a police captain who didn’t really care for Peter Parker much and hated Spider-Man. Then he finds out the truth, dies from the Lizard, and makes Peter promise to not see Gwen to protect her.

And they don’t listen in the long-run. I will say, their chemistry was so good and so right. They dated in real life, so I guess that’s not a huge shocker.

But her dad was right, she falls to her death when Peter doesn’t catch her in time. I hated that, but we all knew it was coming. Unless you knew nothing about Spider-Man lore.
