There’s so much salt in the Great Salt Lake (ten times more than ocean water) in Utah, that its density is higher than the mass of a human being. Which gives people the ability to float without any effort. Though drowning is still possible, yet rare.

  1. I have swum in the Great Salt Lake, although it was almost 50 years ago. With all the drought, I bet I’d float better now.
