The popular Bartlett Pear is known very well in the U.S. and Canada. However if any of us took a visit to England and other parts of Europe would find it under the name of the Willam’s Pear. Started because this dude named Enoch Bartlett named the pear after himself, after unknowingly getting a bunch of pears he allegedly didn’t know about.
