July 4th, 1826 saw the passing of two founding fathers and presidents of the United States. While America lost Thomas Jefferson and John Adams that day, the country gained the father of American music. Stephen Foster grew up and wrote over 200 songs. Including the famous “Camptown Races” and “My Old Kentucky Home”.
