My mom really liked this movie and begged me to watch it.

The movie is about a young Yuppie who meets his autistic brother who has inherited most of his father’s fortune. It’s has a deep meaning of understanding and acceptance for a family members’ shortcomings.

However I just couldn’t stand watching this movie. When Raymond would freak out, his brother Charlie would often be such a jerk that it was pathetic. It was almost painful to watch a lot of these scenes.
