I had read the book, and saw some really old movie based on it in middle school, but missed out when the new movie came out when I was a high school senior.

The Chronicles of Narnia books were never fairly large books, so the movie is pretty faithful to the original. I haven’t read the book in ages, so I can’t point out any differences to be honest.

Narnia in the movie is almost as magical as your imagination puts it while reading the book for the first time. Very high production values, and a decent set of actors. They also pull a Harry Potter, in which they cast mostly actors from Britain. So don’t be surprised if you haven’t seen any of these guys before.

Overall I really enjoyed the movie, and with a faded middle school memory it was almost like watching a brand new story.
