While I tried to love the prequel as a fan of the original film, it was just too stupid to love. Looking back even my 15 year-old-self gave it way too much credit at the time.

While the film may throw a decent joke here and there, it’s really just a movie that never should have been made. It’s not the worst film ever made, and I easily sat down and watched the whole thing. But it really is just an insult to the original film. While the first film was goofy and corny it did have plenty of good moments and great jokes. However the prequel is filled with middle school humor or Déjà vu events.

I have to admit, this guy looks just like Jim Carrey. And that creeps me out a lot.
