Fun Fact: Why a Day is Longer Than a Year on Venus

Fun facts about planet Venus

Venus’ axis rotates very slowly and a “day” on Venus takes about 243 Earth days to finish. However Venus rotates around the sun (making it a Venus “year”) in about 224 Earth days. So a day on Venus is good bit longer than it’s year.
