The Friedman Doctrine is an economic policy created by Milton Friedman that was adopted by Wall Street from the 1980s until today. It mostly suggests that the only thing a business should worry about is giving more profits to its shareholders. Which has been harshly criticized especially as it has been a factor of hurting the working class while enriching the corporate elite.
