Jar Jar Binks despite his few strengths, was a pretty big mistake on George Lucas’s part. In many ways, he was kind of similar to Yoda in Empire Strikes Back but without any of the charm.

In Naboo, he runs into some Jedi which would change his life forever.

Including meeting the future Darth Vader as a young boy and “helping” him out.

Jar Jar Binks goes from banished idiot to general of his people in just one movie. Jar Jar isn’t skillful, but he is pretty lucky. I wonder if the Old Republic had a lottery?

Jar Jar Binks later becomes a senator for Naboo, but many forgot that he was the one who initiated that Supreme Chancellor Palpatine would have dictator-like emergency powers because of the Clone Wars. So in truth, Jar Jar Binks is responsible for the destruction of the Jedi Order and the Old Republic.

I was hoping he would be killed in Revenge of the Sith but he’s alive and attends Padme’s funeral.
