I actually thought Jango Fett was kind of cool and ironically I liked him more than any version of Boba Fett I’ve seen in the Star Wars series.

It was interesting to know that he was the basis for all the clone troopers. But none of the Jedi in all their wisdom could comprehend that maybe this guy working for Count Dooku would make the Clone Army not acceptable for the Old Republic. They basically wanted to be trapped.

Despite not being a Jedi himself, he actually was pretty darn good at combat. Enough to give Obi-Wan Kenobi enough trouble to make him back off.

And talented enough to actually beat him in ship combat, though there was no ultimate victor as Obi-Wan escaped.

Since Mace Windu was powerful enough to actually beat Darth Sidious later in a lightsaber duel, poor Jango Fett never stood a chance.
