While not my favorite Jedi, it’s hard to hate Mace Windu overall.

He’s the second highest ranking Jedi in the Star Wars prequel series. He was also one of the most conservative/stubborn Jedi among the bunch. He was very orthodox with the Jedi code and wasn’t a fan of Anakin Skywalker’s maverick attitude.

While he didn’t use Force powers as much as other Jedi, his skill with a lightsaber was unquestionable.

As Master Windu was technically able to defeat Darth Sidious. Some fans thought that Supreme Chancellor Palpatine threw the fight to turn Anakin to the dark side but George Lucas confirmed Mace Windu was the true victor.

But he sure didn’t expect that Anakin would slice his hand off.

And he’s killed with a blast of Force lightning. Such a shame.
