Our Visit To Hangry’s Grill (Clarkesville, Georgia)

My wife and I started a couple’s weekend last Friday. On the way to our destination, she got hungry about the time we drove near Hangry’s Grill. I had no idea if it was any good, but I loved the name.

It’s a very small place that definitely caters to rednecks. This is rural Georgia after all. But at least my wife is gorgeous.

I have ARFID so there’s not many things on the menu that I could eat. I had some fries which both my wife and I agreed were meh. The slice of cake was okay but strangely gritty. She said her cheeseburger wasn’t great either. She did “thumbs up” the fried pickles. But the wait was BAD. For a restaurant called Hangry’s, they apparently want to make you so. We won’t be back.

Well, that’s disappointing. With that name, you would expect better all around.

  2. I love the restaurant’s name and logo, although the food doesn’t sound like it was all that good. I had to look up what ARFID is — I’d never heard of it before. I hope it doesn’t impact your life too much.
