One of the last things we did before our romantic weekend was over, was to visit the Tallulah Gorge State Park in Georgia. It wasn’t far off the path on the way home and it only cost $5 for us to visit.

There’s a lot of acreage to this park but we weren’t dressed for hiking. But with comfortable enough shoes, we were able to see the waterfalls which were the main draws coming here in the first place. It’s definitely very high up but it’s a breathtaking view.

There’s a main building near the parking area that has a lot of history and whatnot. The strange thing about it is the bathrooms (both men’s and women’s) were completely out of order. I suppose the employees have a Lowe’s bucket with a pool noodle in the back.
The view is pretty, but I’d be ticked about the bathroom situation.
