Habersham Hills Cinemas was a movie theater about halfway on our way home from our romantic getaway. I actually really liked this theater because it reminded me of the one from my childhood. The Habersham, Georgia area is not highly populated so it’s kind of a night and day difference between this one and our local theaters back home.

Their popcorn could have been better but their seats were pretty comfortable.

As for the movie we got to see, it was Barbie. I typically try not to see movies when they’re at their peak showings because I hate being crowded with people. But there were more people showing up to the small theater for it than I expected. I’ll post more thoughts about Barbie tomorrow but I did see one or two families bring a little girl who is not part of the planned demographic of this movie. While conservatives have exaggerated what’s in this movie, it’s not a film made for kids; it’s made for adults. I would say there’s only two real moments that a kid probably shouldn’t really watch but I know I probably had seen worse when I was their age, so there’s that.
