This previous Sunday we took the family to Zoo Atlanta. It was the first time the kids had gone but me and my wife had been to the zoo before, but not together. I think the last time I went back was about 2016. It hasn’t changed much but it’s a very nice zoo and one of the best in the south eastern United States.

Not so large by land area but it took us about 4 hours to really see everything.

I was really excited to see little man’s reaction to all the animals. Baby Alexander didn’t seem super thrilled but you could tell which animals he favored versus the ones he didn’t.

My wife Jessica and my stepdaughter got to feed the giraffe. They both loved doing that.

They have a small amusement park at the zoo which I had forgotten about. Alexander did not like the carousel at all.

You’d imagine his luck on the kiddie train would have been better but it went inside a tunnel and he totally freaked out. But the next time we go he should be a lot more braver, because he will definitely be much older.
