The Drownings at Nantes were an infamous execution spot during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution. Thousands of people (including innocent women and children) were drowned in what the organizer had called the “national bathtub.” Karma eventually got to him as his actions (especially here) put him on the guillotine when justice was finally served.
