
While a person would assume ankle monitors would be provided by the judicial system for free to monitor inmates on house arrest, in most states they charge the convicted person hundreds of dollars (at the very minimum) to have the ankle monitors.

Yes, I have several family members who have had the monitor and I believe as of recently is was like $100 a week (or maybe that’s a month?) that they have to pay for them. At least in Indiana.
